In situations where aesthetic considerations are important, some sort of surface finishing to aluminium sheet is normally applied. Surface finishing can include powder coating, anodising (to suitable grades) and mechanical polishing. Aluminium sheet can be color-anodized to black, gold, red, blue and hundreds of other colors. Aluminium sheet can be etched to a matte finish, polished to a sparkling brightness or textured to resemble wood and painted.
